Who is Harold?!

When you come to Harold's View Farm you may wonder, who is Harold? Well, Harold Steadman was the currator of the farm starting in the 1900s. He raised dairy cattle and cared for his land with his wife, Madine, and 3 daughters, Louella, Lona and Louise. Louella and her husband Daniel Strobridge are the current stewards of the land with the help from their three children, Shiela, Larry and Lee. Harold was known for gazing out of the milking palor after morning chores to watch the well known beautiful sunrises that we experience here at the farm. In 2020 the family thought it was time to share that sunrise and the wonderful fields of the farm with travelers who appreciate such beauty. They opened the meadows to HipCampers who wanted to escape from their homes and isolation during the pandemic.
